The motto of St. Thomas College is 'let there be light' (from Genesis 1:3). We believe that enlightenment through learning and the growth of knowledge leads us to an awareness of a creative spirit. This in turn breaks through the darkness of ignorance, fear and despair to bring the light of truth, love and hope. It turns us away from introspection and self-interest to an awareness of the “other”, to further dimensions of life, to our responsibility to share the Light with others.

St.Thomas College of Arts and Science founded in 1999 has grown significantly in terms of physical infrastructure, Faculty and Departments, students’ strength and above all in public image as aninstitution of higher education. This impressive record of distinction in such a short span of its existence is unique and has few parallels.
At St.Thomas College we have always provided active support systems to encourage faculty and students. This has motivated Faculty and students of the College to accomplish excellent performance in curricular and extra-curricular activities. As part of this academic commitment we have now created a Placement Cell and Students’ Counselling Centre to attend to students’ needs.

College re-opens on 19th June 2013
The application form along with Course Guide can be obtained from the College Office on all working days between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm (Saturday - 9.30 am to 12.30 pm)
Final year students may collect their Plus two marksheet, Transfer Certificate and Course Completion Certificate on May 29,30 and 31 from the College Office. You may also collect the same after 1st August 2013.
